Cookie Policy

Effective date: August 13, 2026 · ReDefine Digital, LLC · redefinedigitalllc.com

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are, which ones this website actually uses, and how you can control them. We’ve written this to reflect exactly what’s running on the site — not a generic template — and we’ll keep it current as our tools change.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. Some are essential for the site to function; others help us understand how the site is used or measure the effectiveness of our advertising. “Similar technologies” includes things like pixels and local storage that work the same way.

How we handle consent

When you first visit this site, a consent banner (powered by Complianz) lets you choose which categories of non-essential cookies to allow. We only load analytics and advertising cookies after you’ve given consent, in line with applicable privacy law. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer.

Cookies and tracking technologies we use

Cookie names are the standard identifiers each provider sets; exact names/durations can vary slightly by provider updates.

Advertising_gcl_au, and standard Google Ads/DoubleClick identifiersGoogle Ads (Conversion ID AW-1000186659)Measures whether someone who clicked a ReDefine Digital ad later took an action on this site (e.g. visiting the Contact page), so we know which ads are workingUp to 90 days

Note on duplicate analytics: Google Analytics currently loads via two independent mechanisms on this site (Google Tag Manager, and a second direct snippet from the Site Kit plugin) that both point at the same property. Functionally this doesn’t add new tracking beyond what’s listed above — both use the same standard Google Analytics cookies — but we’re consolidating to a single mechanism to keep things clean. This policy will be updated if that changes what’s listed here.

Third-party services

The tools above are operated by third parties (Google, Automattic/WordPress.com) under their own privacy policies. We don’t control how these providers process data beyond the settings we configure. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Automattic’s Privacy Policy (Jetpack’s parent company) for details.

Your choices

  • Use the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer to update your consent preferences at any time.
  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings — see your browser’s help documentation.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google’s Browser Add-on.
  • You can opt out of personalized Google advertising at Google Ad Settings.

Blocking essential cookies (like consent-preference cookies) may cause parts of the site not to function as expected.
